ESCToday has the list of the Counrties who will take part in the 55th Eurovision Song Contest in Oslo in May 2010. The participating countires are as follows:

  • Belarus (BTRC)
  • Belgium (VRT)
  • Bosnia & Herzegovina (BHRT)
  • Bulgaria (BNT)
  • Croatia (HRT)
  • Cyprus (CyBC)
  • Denmark (DR)
  • Estonia (ERR)
  • Finland (YLE)
  • France (FT3)
  • FYR Macedonia (MKRTV)
  • Georgia (GEGT)
  • Germany (NDR/ARD)
  • Greece (ERT)
  • Iceland (RÚV)
  • Ireland (RTÉ)
  • Israel (IBA)
  • Latvia (LTV)
  • Lithuania (LRT)
  • Malta (PBS)
  • Moldova (TRM)
  • The Netherlands (TROS)
  • Norway (NRK)

Georgia returns to the competition after sitting out last year. Andorra, the Czech Republic, Hungary and Montenegro all sit it out this year.

As there are 39 entries, the big 4 (France, Germany, Spain and the UK) plus last years winners, Norway, are automatically in the final on May 29th. Each semi final will have 17 entries. These will take place on the 25th and 27th May.

I know its not 2010 yet, but the Eurovision Song C ontest is only five months away!
