Seven countries have picked their representative. Ireland will pick its entry on March 5th. An update on its progress through Europe. The treaty has completed its passage in Austria, Denmark and Portugal. The List below has been update to reflect this. We are appraching the halfway mark as 11 of the 27 Member states have ratified the treaty. Austria – Parliamentary Vote. Approved : 24/04/2008 Belgium – Parliamentary Vote. In Progress. EU Split on Turkey, Surpised? I’m not

Via BreakingNews.ie Well, I thought the EU was always spilt on this. I think we should suspend all negioations with Turkey until it recognises all 25 member states of the Union and fully complies with its obligations under the pacts and treaties it has signed with the EU. No other couintry would be shown so much leinancy on negioations but turkey, so why is it recieving special treatment. Thats what the EU Governments need to be explaining to us...
