So today we saw the first poll since the general election published in the Sunday Business Post. It was conducted by Red C. All figures are on difference since the election. Two polls today! Its like christmas! Sunday Business Post/Red C Poll Its five days to polling day and the Sunday Business Post have their last opinion poll of the campaign. A new poll has been published in today’s Sunday Business Post by Red C. It shows that Fine Gael is +3% on last weeks at 38% showing that Enda’s non appearance on Tuesday night has not hurt him at all. The poll was done on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday should take good account of the Debate. Opinion Polls – 6 MEPs and 10% ahead for Fine Gael

Well Predict 09, the Burson – Marsteller study by Simon Hix (London School of Economics), Michael Marsh (Trinity College Dublin), and Nick Vivyan (London School of Economics), has updated its predictions. It is now predicting that the EPP will win 251 seats, up three from last prediction, the PES are predicted to win 211, up two from the previous predction. According to the latest Opinion Poll, due to be published tomorrow in the Sunday Business Post, Labour and Sinn Fein are both down points. According to Irish Election, the figures are: FG 31 (+1); FF 28 (+5); Lab 17 (-5); SF 7 (-4); Green 7 (+1); Others 10 (+2) So thats is the left down a total of 9 percentage points.
