Illinois Governor arrested for trying to sell Obama’s open Senate seat

December 9, 2008
By Stephen

This is something else! I found this story on ConHome’s CentreRight Blog and Gaypatriot.net which pointed me in the direction of instapundit.com. But the Governor of Illinois, Rod Blagojevich, is under arrest for corruption charges, including the charge of trying to sell Obama’s open Senate Seat! The part I love no where in the CNN story does it name the party affliation of the Govenor. Democrat if you must know. I have the feeling that if this was a...

I didn’t realise how much of an idiot Biden actualy is until now!

October 10, 2008

So every one has heard that Joe Biden, the Democratic VP nominee is a little gaffe prone but after reading Ann Coulters review of the debate he is more then prone! if Palin had made basic mistakes like this, people would be calling for her head! A few examples: About Lebanon: “I said and Barack said, ‘Move NATO forces in there. Fill the vacuum, because if you don’t, Hezbollah will control it.’” This is madness — Lebanon is not...

Dont forget about what else is in the balance

As usual when a Presidential Election comes along every four years, people outside of America forget that there are other elections too. While not as interesting as mid-term elections, the elections for Congress and Governorships are hotly contested. The House of Representatives is elected for a two year term. The house has 435 seats. Its is currently controlled by the Democrats (235 Democrats to 199 Republicans, one vacancy). There are thirty-two incumbents retiring from the house. Most commentators don’t...

Palin takes her gloves off

October 5, 2008
By Stephen

Finally the Sarah Palin shows how she got the name “Sarah Baracuda”. Democrats are accusing the Republicans of using “swift boat tactics” but this is a presidential campaign which always gets personal! Voters have to know if the candidate is fit for office and someone who was “palling around with terrorists” is sure as hell not.

‘Why Gay Americans Should Vote for John McCain’

October 5, 2008
By Stephen

Daniel (GayPatriotWest) from Gaypatriot.net has written an excellent article for gaywired.com on why Gay Americans Should vote republican. Well worth the read. In the article Daniel writes somethings in relation to the Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA) and expanding federal Hate Crimes laws, that strikes me as the core of “gay conservatism” If we keep turning to the state to address our problems or to pass legislation that will make us feel better about ourselves because the government cares, we’ll...

Palin and Homosexuality

October 2, 2008
By Stephen

Palin seams to get a lot of bad press lately about her attitudes towards homosexuality, but those of you who pay attention to my google shared items or my friendfeed would have seen that Gaypatriot.com have an excellent post on Palin and her ACTUAL position on homosexuality. The video is below, but do read the original post also. So, while I disagree with how the whole choice thing comes across, but maybe she does think like Bruce comments, that...

If the polls are right…

September 17, 2008

Via HotAir New York could become a Battle Ground State! Thats according to the latest Siena Poll the voting intentions were Obama 46% and McCain 41%. This is in comparison to last months poll which had Obama on 47% and McCain 39%. The gap is closing as there is less undecided voters. New York is traditionally a Democrat state and hasn’t voted Republican since 1984. Will it change to a republican this year? If NY does change to a...
